I am interested in painting that is minimal, meditative and calming. 
I want to steer away from intellectualism and favor the personal and spiritual.
An untroubled, ego-less, enlightened state of mind is conveyed through my vision. Color, line and design exist together in space and create an open window into nature. The mandala drawings I create and collage into the piece, represent the source, seed or birth place.
I begin there and then build the painting around it, establishing peace, balance and illumination. Ultimately, each painting does not refer to anything beyond itself.
